Dei smiled slightly as the two examined the area with impressment, motioning towards to large double doors as she started up the short flight of stairs. "Basically just get things settled." She said as she made her way down the corridor of tree-like walls. The stone floors were polished and reflected the walls, flames, and their characters as they went. "I have a close friend who's a real expert hacker, no doubt among the best you'll ever meet. She helped design this whole place, mostly on her own. Still..." She stopped a moment, looking around at the area for a moment. "...surprisingly enough, The World had some involvement in it too. Like I said, this area is like a Lost Ground almost. A game that has a mind of it's own... This place never ceases to amaze me... Not even for as long as I've played..." She said thoughtfully. "...or something like that." She said with an involuntary shrug before continuing to the double doors. "You'll find a few of our members are always around." She said before opening the doors. The room they entered was fairly large, partly due to the high ceiling. The stone walls were less polished then the floor surprisingly enough, large roots snaking down through the walls and the edge's of the floor, glowing white and illuminating the room. Some darker green and brown plants gripped into cracks as well, though most were bare and spindly. Near the back was what looked like some sort of computer of sorts, a few minor cracks along the surface with more plant life competing for space. A long corridor scattered with several doors stood in the far back of the room, and more blue flames danced along stone torches intricately carved into serpent-like heads and shapes along the wall. A much larger serpent shape was carved into the wall, snaking around the entirety of the room, it's stone head portruding over the back doorway, long, stone fangs that could've skewered all three at once with ease like a giant kabaab glistening from the gaping jaws. A giant blue flame danced in its mouth, piercing eyes aglow. It almost seemed like it would lunge forth at any moment, fully alive and animated. Several PC's stood or sat around the room. The first notable one was a VERY large character. He was a human male of mountainous proportion, wrought with large, rippling muscle. Short black hair cut military style and side burns outlined his square mug, eyes narrow and squinty, but watchful. He had a shoulder gaurd on each shoulder and some armor covering his upper torso aside from the large baggy vest draping over his otherwise bare chest, more armor along his thigh's and legs. He was leaning back on a short wall seperating him and the computer, gripping a broadsword leisurely, suggesting his Job was as an Edge Punisher. "'ey, there you are." He said gruffly. "We were wondering when you'd get back. Who're the fresh fish?" She asked, looking at Haseo and Endrance. "The two that we were scouting. This is Haseo and Endrance." She said, motioning to each in turn. "They're the Epitaph User's I mentioned." The man nodded in understanding. "So that's them, eh?" He said, grumbling to himself in thought. "So they're helpin' us then." He concluded. "Perhaps." Dei replied casually before turning back to the two. "Haseo, Endrance, this is Yama. He's one of our oldest members." She noted, nodding to the gargantuan PC who returned the gesture. "That player up there is Leo." She said, motioning to a smaller PC with unruly short blonde hair, a pair of goggles resting on his head. He had a black eye patch clothe that was tied into long strips in the back. He wore a cerulean top that was purposefully missing a sleeve on the right side. Multiple buckle's were clipped to keep the jacket closed, a large collar decorated with the white shapes of lion tails on either side. On the right side below the chest the shirt turned azure. Brown belts with pockets criss-crossed over his waist, and dark gray baggy pants with a few pockets on either leg draped over metal-plated boots. The younger male turned his gaze to them and nodded in greeting nervously as Dei mentioned him. "H-hello..." He piped. His voice sounded squeeky but also somewhat rough like sandpaper, giving the impression of someone who was loosing their voice after talking to long. "He's a pretty good hacker if there ever was one." Dei commented. "He's really good with technology and stuff." She said with a reassuring smile to the youth. "...Oh... Well... It's not all that special... Plenty of other people are a lot better at it then me..." He said sheepishly, embarassed. Dei smiled and motioned to a familiar beast class PC. "You guy's already met RecOn." She said, the Tribal Grappler opening one eye and glancing at the two before he closed it again from the back of the room. Next was a Shadow Warlok who was leaning against the far wall. He had raven black hair that was matched by his attire, a black cloak that rose in a large collar adorned with silver buckle's. He was lean with a black vest that fit perfectly with the curve's of his body, edged with delicate silver across the seams and the center of the vest. Most of his design was made up of blacks and silvers curving into intricate designs or patterns, and interlaced with chains and other accessories. He looked up indifferently, gave a small barely audible grunt, and returned to his silent brooding. "...And that little pocket of overflowing sunshine is Taó." Dei commented snidely, earning a glare from said pocket-of-sunshine. The last character's were two females. One was a Blade Brandier clad in mostly bronze-colored armor, her black hair tied back in a long ponytail. The other was a Steam Gunner with blue-black glossy hair that was shortly cropped, a hooded dark gray sweater with long sleeves. Her design was the most basic. "These two are Niira..." She motioned to the Blade Brandier first. "...and Mouse. And... and..." She looked around in confusion. "...Hey... Where are those two clowns? They didn't log out for the day, did they?" She asked. "...Uh... Nope. Said somethin' 'bout goin' out Spelunking again or some'in." Yama said gruffly. "Y-yeah... They're in a dungeon r-right now..." Leo squeeked. Dei felt her blood pressure rise and had to restrain her rising anger. "They what?" She asked, a hint of anger edging her voice. "Those morons! Remind me to knock some sense into their thick skull's when they get back!" She growled, starting towards the back corridor briskly. "I don't think I'll need to." Yama put in with slight humor as she disapeared down the hallway. The giant PC chuckled with a shake of his head before turning to the two newcomers. "Well, it's good to meet you, anyway. I'm sure you'll get to meet the twins soon." He said, chuckling again as he ran his hand through his hair. "Don't mind what Dei said 'bout those two. They're always runnin' off to a dungeon or some'in just to piss her off, but she more or less worries that they'll get into some kinda trouble and get themselves hurt or some'in. Not that she'll ever openly admit it. But if she ever asks who told ya, you didn't hear it from me." He said with another deep throated chuckle. "Anyways, we got others that come 'ere too, you'll no doubt meet 'em event'ly, though a lot of our past members left, so we ain't as big as we used to be, y'know?" He said, opting conversation. A shadow hovered behind the two G.U. Members a moment, but quickly vanished before it could be seen.

Haseo looked around at the cast of characters surrounding them and coughed lightly. as they continued to size up all the PCs around them, Kite materialized behind them. <sorry it took me so long> he messaged. <the coding around this place is a mess. very hard to navigate through.> he looked around. <impressive.> Haseo nodded. "Everyone, in case you didn't know, this is Azure Kite. " He had a feeling that name would ring familiar with most here that weren't total n00bs. Haseo elbowed Endrance, who murred demurely as he looked at Haseo. "yes. . Aura has instructed Azure Kite to join with Master Haseo and I along with Azure Balmung to investigate this anomaly." Haseo took it from there; "Azure Balmung is currently investigating Lumina Cloth and Tortorga due to reports of AIDA infections. we ran into Dei and were intrigued, so we came. Now anyone feel like filling us in on what we're missing here?" his gaze traveled around the room.

Yama gave a grunt and looked at Leo, who was currently inputting data, mainly the information he'd learned from the new members, into the computer. "Dei's already explained about the rising activity from the Infected players, and about both our base and the enemy bases, including the one we found and about having to gate hack to them. There isn't much else to explain, at least not for us too. Some of the stuff we have to leave for Dei to decide to share." He said with a dismal shake of his head. "There is some stuff though." He put in with a raspy tone. Niira approached now with Mouse trailing behind. "Well, sis told you about the enemy having several bases. In total, we believe there are six. Five are run by their generals, one to each area, and the last by their leader. Each base has a sort of function or purpose, like different parts of a factory or a production line, more or less. Basically, each is a cog in a larger plan." She tried to explain. "We were able to locate one of the bases, but the data is very unstable and near impossible to access, even with someone of Azure Kite's calibur. Sort of like the data surrounding our area, but much worse and more scrambled." She said, casting a quick glance at the Azure Knight as if to verify. "Either way, they are infecting players with AIDA, but it's not just that. You could say that they are sort of... 'manufacturing' AIDA and other things. AIDA, AI's, AI and AIDA hybrids." She shook her head. "There's a lot we just don't know. But we do know they are trying to create super-weapons, more or less." Taó cast a skeptical look in their direction. "Keep in mind, 'AI' doesn't refer simply to those like Aura, or the Azure Knights. It also refer's to powerful anomalies like the Avatar's, and beings like Morganna, though whether that AI is around anymore or not, no one has heard. I'm sure you have probably had a... Personal... Ordeal with her, a bit of a history, huh?" He put in before he turned back to his stoic silence. "Hey, fresh fish!" Someone jibed from behind. Not a second later two arms, one on each side, rested across the back of Haseo's neck and shoulders. "So who's it this time?" The two males asked. Both were Blade Brandiers with gray-orange hair fringed with white, armor-like attire that was gray-orange with white, similar in style to endrance's top. They also wore brown leather gloves with large cuffs and fur-lined loose jacket's over their armor, furry hoods with dog ears portruding from the top of each hood, and fiery orange eyes. Both looked pretty much the same. "New guy, huh?" "Doesnt look like much." "Looks kinda familiar." "Definately, but from where?" "I dunno, but he does look familiar." "Maybe we got 'im once?" "Maybe. He is a rogue, right? Their looks change." They rambled back and forth, leaving little-to-no room for Haseo to interject. Also, the 'Don't touch' rule Haseo seemed to wordlessely put up when around anyone didn't seem to quite click in their minds. "Wait, I know! Saw this guy on Apkallu or somethin' a while back." "Yeah, think you're right." "I think he's that PKK, the 'terror of death', right?" "Yeah, I think you're right. Didn't he quit that or somethin' about the time we started getting our reputation or something?" "Nah, I heard he got beat bad and sent back to level 1." "Oh yeah?" "Yeah, it was big news all 'round or something." "Oh yeah, I remember. Well that and from the Boss." "Yeah, I gotcha. So, you're names Haseo right? Nice to finally meet you. I'm @kita." Said the one on his right. "And I'm Akit@." The one on the Left. They finally got off Haseo and jumped in front of him, leaning on each other now. "We're the Inu Twins." They put in in unison, giving Haseo an odd look like a cat that just found it's favorite kind of prey. "You know Dei'll have you're guys' heads once she sees you back." Yama put in with a small chuckle.

Haseo growled at the two idiots standing in front of him. he started to yell, but Endrance, who was annoyed at the nerve of the two; (how dare they touch his precious Haseo so casually. . lol) wisely interjected before he could finish the first syllable. "Master Haseo was indeed PKed and sent back to level one a long time ago, but he was attacked by none other than the Azure Knight that stands before you as well as us, so i'd suggest you show some respect to all of us or he might be tempted to put you in your place." as Endrance spoke, Kite growled and his hand began to collect power, not even close to the power of Data Drain, but hopefully enough to deter the brats from aggrivating Haseo more. Endrance continued "also, Master Haseo has regained his title as the Terror Of Death and is still the reigning emperor in the Demon Palace and other battle arenas. Aura has named Master Haseo and I as Honorary Azure Knights, a rank I assume you wouldnt take lightly. And one other thing. . . ." Endrance looked at Haseo, who finally yelled "DONT TOUCH ME!" it echoed around the room almost deafaningly as Haseo muttered something unintelligable under his breath, Endrance only catching the end of it himself " . . . .Tabby. . . annoying little brats" Kite messaged everyone <to be honest, yes it was a bit difficult to enter this base without the key, but as for the other bases, Azure Balmung and I have managed to enter Five out of the Six bases you mentioned undetected. however the coding around the sixth is so tangled we've only managed to get through half of it.> Haseo smiled. "and Endrance and I also have gained the ability to pass through the game without the use of gates and into the coding system via our custom weaponry which was created by Azure Kite and Aura herself." he said. Endrance blinked in surprise "Master Haseo!" he cried in distress. Haseo waved him off "its not like these guys are going to go around broadcasting that." he looked hard at everyone in the room. "right?"

Yama gave a chuckle. "No need to worry 'bout that, most people don't even know we exist." Leo shuffled slightly from behind his machine. "I-if they did, it'd be a real p-problem since we have to stop these guy's making the a-AIDA." He said before returning to his work, quickly typing every bit of new information into his records. "Yeah, but sneaking around is no fun." Put in one of the twins. "I'd rather just jump in and start hacking away." The other twin. The two stopped, feeling malicious eyes on them that made th shiver. Uh-oh, they knew who that was... Dei pounced on the two and captured them in a headlock before they could get away. "You clowns have better got a good reason for running off like that!" She snarled, giving them a death glare. "We were just bored, Boss!" One of them prattled. "Yeah, and we decided we'd go clear a dungeon or two..." The other weedled, trying to squirm out of her grasp. "If you wanna go running through a dungeon, Leo could'a set one up here!" Dei countered angrily. "Yeah... But there's no noobs there. It's just no fun." "You can't go running around a dungeon like that just 'for fun'! Not until we stop these guys!" She growled, releasing them finally. She pointed abruptly to the back hallway. "Training room. Now." She growled. "But Boss..." They both started to whine. "Now." They both gave a whine and sulkily started for the back room. Dei rubbed her temple with one hand and gave a short sigh before looking back at Haseo and the others. "Well, I guess you got to meet those two... Dopplegangers..." She said with a shake of her head. "...Honestly, I can't remember why I even asked them to join... They can be a bit annoying, albeit on purpose... But they really are pretty good after you get to know them." She cast another glance down the now empty hallway. "But they're also really good at knowing exactly how to piss someone off. Just be sure not to kill them or anything..." She said with a slight shake of her head. "...beating some sense into them however... That's another story." She looked back again, about to say something when she noticed something floating behind the new Trio. It was a small PC that resembled a cat, a split black and white face and a pointy hat that ended with a crescent moon shaped item. A frilly lace collar surrounded it's neck, and it's front paws resembled furry human hands, the back end more feline. It's tail split in two, one white, the other black. The black tail held an orange circular shape, and the white held a crescent moon. The feline figure floated slightly closer to them, looking them over with unbridled curiousity before it quickly floated around Dei and gave an odd, quiet sound in greeting. Dei smiled back at it. "This is Antithesis. He's an AI that was created by our enemies when their plan first began. Of course, because it turned out he wasn't of much use to them, he was discarded. He's been around with us since this whole thing started, even before the base was made. There are a few AI's and others like him that were discarded of. It was back when they were still perfecting it, so it was basically trial and error for them." She said as the little cat AI floated around her. The little blue fox on her shoulder gave a growl that sent Antithesis floating towards the rear hall, disapearing through the last door. Dei's hand traced up to the fox's head to pet it. "Nono was also a product of their... Experiments... With similar results." She said, before scratching her own head in thought. "Hmm... I think that's everything..." She thought for several more moments. "Oh... There's also a name that keeps coming up. Tora. We aren't quite sure who or what that is, but it holds great significance with our enemy. We think that it's either a player, no doubt an infected one, who's among the higher ranks, or a weapon they've created, a very powerful one." She said, crossing her arms. "Well, even with the Azure Knights, balmung, kite, and Orca, I'm sure they've been detected, it's just.." She paused a moment to think. "They haven't taken action against it. They don't think we'll be able to stop them in time. And honestly... I'm not sure we can either... But I'll be damned if I let them do this without trying to stop them." She said before giving a yawn. Niira cast a glance at her. "Maybe you should take a break." She suggested firmly. "Even you have to rest." "I will, but I gotta go teach those two twins a lesson first." She said, rolling her shoulders. "They can't just go running around like that with all that's going on, not so long as they decide to stay here and help out." She said. "Besides that, you guys can hang out or do whatever. Unlike those other two, it'd be too unusual for you to not be out in the towns and fields and stuff, so just do whatever you usually do and someone here can alert you if anything comes up. Feel free to drop by whenever, too. You're more than welcome." She said with a wave of the hand before disapearing down the hallway and into one of the many rooms. Leo was still busy typing away before he cast a quick look at the Epitaph Users and the Azure Knight. "...Um... I think y-you should tell Azure Balmung and Azure Orca to b-be careful entering the last base. Even though they don't percieve us as a threat, they'll no doubt have security defenses of some type, like a firewall and AIDA, so it could still be d-dangerous." "Especially now that things are starting to heat up. They no doubt already know the Azure Knights are on the move." Taó put in skeptically.

(enter three new characters)
A new PC entered the room and came up behind Haseo, Endrance and Kite. He was a cross between an Adept Rogue and a Blade Brandier, a sort of Hacked weapons' master. His hair was red and black and cascaded over his shoulders. his eyes were a brilliant blue, sharp and kind in the same instant, never missing a beat. He had a blue mark on his right cheek and two simaler marks on either forearm, all in the shape of lightening bolts. He wore a black shirt, the right sleeve long and flowing, the left cut off at his shoulder, which was buttoned up only halfway. His pants were leatherish and tight, with "rips" cut into them at various intervals and buckles here and there. his shoes were leather boots. all in all, he was quite an attractive PC.
On his shoulder was a small blue winged fox, her fur was blue to match her masters' eyes and markings with a few black and red accents on her nose, paws, wings, chest and tail; (ironic that this character was created long before yours was, when i was 10 for my book series, yet they are insanely simaler, no?) who made a catlike noise and fluffed her fur, looking around with interest.
With him were another younger Adept Rogue that was dressed simaler to Haseo, indicating that the two were close, siblings perhaps, clearly a n00b, and a PC that hadn't been seen since the original player of the character had died playing the game, Phyllo.
The Adept Brandier looked around the room at everyone and said cheerfully to Kite "you really shouldnt leave back doors open, Kite. anyone could have found their way in here." Kite Growled and seeing a look of alarm cross the faces of everyone in the room the young man chuckled; "dont worry, he didnt really do that, i just like teasing him. My name is Eviathon, call me Evin. I'm one of the best hackers in The World, part of Haseo's team. Anyway." he focused on Haseo "Haseo, i have a few things to tell you, one: i think this belongs to you." he motioned to the young n00bish looking Adept Rogue PC, then continued before Haseo could react. "two, if i overheard the conversation correctly, then i have to agree, They are aware of the Azure Knight's movements, but luckily they have no idea that i've managed to Hack into the bases enough to put video surveylence inside each base including the sixth. If you allowed me to access this computer i can pull up the video feed from each base. also, i carefully examined the coding around each base and have figured out a pattern. mostly its just tangled up and random coding, but in certain areas they have cleverly hidden traps, AIDA tripgates and Firewalls. the sixth base is most heavily covered by them all, and it took a while to get in there, and when i did i only had time to enter in the monitoring code without risking getting noticed. but anyway. . . "
"Evin. . .do let others talk for a moment." interjected Phyllo quietly.
"sorry." said Evin sheepishly "but when i get on a roll. . "
"yes. . we know." Phyllo smiled. "in case you all dont know, I am Phyllo, some called me Phyllo the philosipher, others relied on me for advice" he paused and looked at Haseo for a moment before continuing "but mainly i am the PC that was normally sitting on the Mac Anu bridge people watching. Many thought i was a Hacked PC, but i'm just strong and know the right people. I hope you dont mind the intrusion, but we became concerned when Haseo and Endrace seemed to disappear from The World, and then Kite followed suit. its alarming when one cannot locate an Azure Knight, and from the looks of things here, you could use a bit more help."
Haseo chuckled and motioned the n00b PC to him. "Whats the matter Lucas, you look terrified."
Lucas glared at Haseo "well what am i supposed to think with all the horror stories you've told me about the Lost Ones! you vanish off the map and i cant even PM you and you expect me to be happy about that?!"
Haseo sighed and ruffled Lucas' hair "its alright Little Brother, i know what i'm doing."
Lucas looked nonplussed.
there was silence for a moment, then Evin clapped his hands and smiled at everyone else in the room. "SO! what now? gonna let me see your computer?"
Endrance, who had remained quiet, asked Lucas, "what of Lune?"
"Lune is talking with Aura atm." responded Lucas quietly. "i still dont know why me and her are in this group at all, niether of us is really any good at anything yet. we're not even level 20!"
"i'm sure you will find out what is in store for you soon, Lucas, so dont fret and enjoy the ride." said Phyllo reasonably.
Lucas nodded and scanned the room, clearly intimidated.

((It's the Teddy bear from Mac Anu's bridge! *le gasp* jk but is that actually supposed to be Phyllo? Didn't he die from cancer in //Roots? Or is this one of those 'I liked him so I'm gonna pretend he didn't die' things? Lol and... Haseo/ryou has a brother...? I think he might have a sister buuut... Awe, whatever... And cool OC!))
Several of the PC's looked at the group, a little warily, before confused looks washed over them. "Haseo..." "The 'terror of death'..." Niira continued. "Has a brother...?" Yama finished with a small tilt of his head, grumbling in thought. Several gazes turned to Leo, who shrunk behind his computer. "What's everyone looking at me for...? I didn't know any of it... I-It's news to me too..." He squeeked nervously. Niira shrugged it off and looked back at them. "In any case, it's nice to meet you. Just... A little warning next time? It's a little unsettling when people we don't know or aren't expecting just... Pop in. Least of all with recent circumstances." She said, casting a quick glance at Taó who was pointedly watching the three newcomers like a hawk ready to swoop down on a mouse any moment. "Okay, okay! We give! We won't go sneaking out like that again!" Could be heard from the other room. "Like he said, we won't go out like that again!" "Bet your ass' you won't!" Dei's voice countered before the two twin Blade Brandiers hopped out of one of the rooms, followed by Dei. They looked over the newcomers with keen curiousity before Dei slipped by. She was on alert in a blink and kept a careful watch on them, a little suspicious. "Who're they?" She asked carefully, not taking her eyes off them. "Friends of Haseo. Evin," Niira began, pointing to the Adept Brandier, "Lucas, Haseo's brother, and..." "Phyllo, I know. He's no stranger to anyone who's been on a while." She said, waving it off calmly. "Though I haven't seen him around for quite a while. Rumor was he quit, or something." She stopped a moment, blinking stupidly. "Wait, did I hear that right? Haseo has a...." She trailed off, looking between Haseo and Lucas. "Already been through that, sorry you missed out." Yama chuckled gruffly, the new information still registering in Dei's mind. "Um..." She turned and looked at Leo, who was furiously typing away at the computer with all his concentration. "What's up Leo?" She inquired, leaning slightly in his direction. "I'm picking up a signal." He rasped, still typing away. "Alright then..." "Dei!" Niira snapped with warning. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna do anything till I've rested a bit." She assured, waving Niira off. "What's the stats on it, Leo?" She turned to the blonde Flick Reaper, who didn't even spare a glance. "Looks like three, an Edge Punisher, an Adept Rogue, and a Tribal Grappler." He said quickly as Dei came over and leaned over to look herself. "The Edge Punisher is level 97, the Adept Rogue's a level 84, and the Tribal Grapplers a level 92. Two are a rank 8, the others a rank 7." He continued. Dei straightened and thought a moment. "Ranks 8 and 7...." She paused a moment. "Alright, Yama, Taó, this one's a mission for you two." She said, nodding to the Edge Punisher and Shadow Warlock. "Go to Dol Dona's Chaos gate and wait for more info from Leo, got it?" She instructed, the large Edge Punisher nodding while Taó simply grunted with indifference before they left, Taó casting a sideways glare at Haseo's group for good measure before disapearing towards the chaos gate. "Awe... But we wanna go too!" @kita whined. "Yeah, it's to boring here!" The other whined. Dei cast a death glare at the two. "Not on your life." She growled. With that she turned to the others. "Well, anyways, good to have you. So, how've things been with you?" She asked, turning to Phyllo. "It's been a long time since anyone's seen you around. Made me a bit curious."

(yes, Phyllo died, but his account was given to another that plays him the same way that the original did in my mind. and Lucas is my OC, i made him up to compliment Endrance's sister, my friend's OC, Lune, and Evin is an OC i've had since i was ten, i've set him up so i can adapt him to any type of rp situation)
Evin sighed irritably as the small foxlike creature chirruped on his shoulder and streached out her tiny wings.
Phyllo held up a hand. "i'll be happy to explain everything, but only if you give Evin access to your computer. i will personally vouch for his skills and If Haseo, Endrance, Kite and I all trust him, you can as well." he said
Lucas hid behind Kite and Edrance as Haseo shrugged at the rest. "i have a brother who just started playing a week ago, so what?" he said. "and didnt you hear what Evin said? we have video surveylence abilities in all six of the bases. let him use the damn computer!"
Endrance placed a hand on Haseo's shoulder "Master Haseo. . calm down. we can't blame them for being slightly suspicious."
Haseo sighed, nodding and glancing at Endrance.
Phyllo chuckled, looking at them "Its funny, Haseo. . . the only person who dares touch you or reason with you is Endrance. . . . one would expect you to backhand him eventually. The last time i saw you allow someone to touch you so casually without yelling at them immediately was Shino and Atoli."
Haseo blushed crimson and Endrance pretended to be fascinated with a crack in the floor as Haseo mumbled "shut up."
Phyllo chuckled again and surveyed the room, waiting.
Lucas seemed to be PMing somone. <Lune. . . where are you?>
<MAC ANU near the fountain>
<i'll meet you there soon, dont go anywhere, k?> said Lucas
<ok!>

Dei nodded, casting a glance at Leo, who hesitated a moment before he stepped to the side to make room. "So long as Leo can keep tabs on the infected players and do what he has to do, it's fine by me." Dei said with a small shrug. The little blue fox creature that was usually resting on Dei's shoulder was eyeing the winged fox on Evin's shoulder with keen intrest, sitting on the computer Leo was working at. The Flick Reaper looked up and tried to shoo it off. "Nono, don't sit there! This is delicate work!" He squeeked. 'Nono' gave a distempered bark and leapt down back to the floor, all four tails flicking in irritation. Dei surpressed a small chuckle before Niira came up again. "Dei, it's already about time you took a break." Niira said firmly. Dei looked like she wanted to argue before Niira put in, "You know what could happen if you don't." She warned. After a moments hesitation, she nodded and turned to the long hallway where RecOn was waiting expectantly. "If anything changes or happens, you know where to find me." She said with a wave before travelling to the very last door down the hall, RecOn following suite, Niira looking satisfied. The two twins slipped over to Lucas, looking up and down with interest. "So then..." "...the Guppy's got a brother." Akit@ continued. "Who would'a thought?" They both asked, looking at each other. Niira turned to the group. "Well, why don't we start with setting up that footage? Dei can take a look after she's rested." //// Dei sat on a large tree with gently sloping branches, arms folded behind her head. This was the very back of the area, which was made up of a long rocky path overlooking water that ended in a small cliff. The waves glittered with moonlight as she relaxed against the tree, RecOn standing nearbye, and the feline AI Antithesis hovering near the doorway, which is to say was a good distance from her perch. "Hey RecOn, what'do ya think about those new guys?" She asked casually. "Don't know, haven't spent the time to find out yet." He answered gruffly. "I'm not sure about this 'Evin' guy just yet... He seems alright. Still..." She paused a moment in thought. "...If that newer kid really is Haseo's brother, that could lead to trouble. I didn't even know he had one, and we can't hide it from our enemies forever..." She said thoughtfully. She wasn't worried about any unwanted listener's. This specific spot in her base was the most secure. Not even someone like one of the Azure Knight's could spy through the game's coding withouting there being some kind of sign of their presence, she'd taken special care to make sure of that. RecOn nodded in agreement. "Especially with one of them among us." He growled. "So, any ideas who the insider is?" Dei inquired, turning to the beast PC. "No, not yet." He said with a dismal shake of his head. "Well, although the twins run off a lot and cause mischief, I don't think it's them." She thought aloud, sitting up. "Leo's too much of a spineless wimp, though I hate to say it. We know it's not Mouse or Yama... And it can't be my sister... Taó's moody and brooding, but I don't think he's the one either..." She shook her head in frustration. "I just can't seem to figure it out... I wish Zelphous had said something sooner... Then maybe..." She got a far off look in her eyes, like reliving something that had already happened. She shook her thoughts away and settled back down, giving a sigh of exhaustion. "Man, I'm too tired to think through all this right now..." She said, shaking her head. "Then don't think. Rest." RecOn said gruffly. "Yeah..." She said tiredly, watching the moon and the glittering waves quietly.

Evin approached the computer and began to type. within three minutes there were six video feeds; one from each base, up on the screen to the side of the Flick Reapers' work. "there we go." he said, as Saara fluttered down and sniffed at the other fox, mewling curiously.
Lucas looked at Haseo, who stifled a chuckle. "help?" he squeaked.
Haseo shrugged and ignored his brother, looking instead to Endrance, who remained quiet.
Kite seemed to phase out, pming something about checking on Azure Balmung and Orca.
Phyllo drifted about the room, taking in the scenery while musing to himself. "hn. . .i know you all dont trust us; since you dont know much about us. . . so why not ask a few questions to get to know us?" he said to the populus in general.

A mischeivous grin crossed the two twins lips as they each wrapped an arm over the back of Lucas's shoulders. "Don't you worry, newbie. We won't bite..." @kita cooed cunningly. "Yeah, but we might nibble a little." Akit@ continued teasingly. "Just stick with us and we'll show you the best way to play this game." "Yeah, we know where the fun's at." Akit@ assured matter-of-factly. "So how about it, newbie?" Both chimed together, giving him an odd look. Leo shuffled slightly, obviously a bit nervous and not to fond of having to meet so many people at once. "Well... Um... That's okay... It doesn't matter much to me if I d-don't know much about you g-guys..." He squeeked, fidgetting nervously. "A-and a lot of people already k-know you..." He said to Phyllo, inching away slightly. Niira gave a sigh and rubbed the back of her head. "Honestly Leo, you don't have to act all scared or anything, it's not like they're gonna come after you. Plus you could stand to have a few more friends." She commented. Leo just seemed to deflate more at that. "I...I'm sorry..." He rasped just above a whisper, fidgetting more with discomfort and turning slightly pink with embarrasement. Niira just gave a sigh at that before turning her attention back to Haseo's group. "Well, most of us were just a bit on edge since we didn't know you were gonna be coming here, but after we found out you guy's were friends of Haseo, well, it gave us enough reason to relax a bit." She said with a small shrug. "Taó is really the only one who's a bit more suspicious, but he doesn't really trust anyone. Not even most of us." She said dismally. "His younger sister was PKed and sent into a coma some time ago and he doesn't have it very easy in real life or many friends, from what I understand. He joined up with us to find a way to help her, but aside from missions and stuff, he just keeps to himself. Don't expect much from him outside of business matters." Mouse nodded silently in agreement, hearing the familiar typing of Leo at work on the computer again. "Anyways, what brings you back to The World, Phyllo? It's been several months since anyone's heard from or seen you." She inquired more casually.
Nono chirped curiously and sniffed at Saara, tails flicking as the Azure colored fox watched the other with bright ruby eyes.

Lucas looked to Haseo, who cleared his throat warningly. "guys. back off. you can harass him and Lune later." he said to the twins.
Evin kept his eyes on the monitors and spoke softly to leo "you've got some talent, kid."
Phyllo looked to Mouse. "I recieved an Email from Aura and Haseo asking me to log in and give them a hand. i figured it couldnt hurt much." he said.
Saara flicked her wings and tail as she watched Nono just as intensely with her blue eyes, chirping a cute noise and licking Nono's nose.

The two twins cast Haseo a pouty look of disapointment. "Awe, you're no fun Guppy." The two said together with a dissapointed tone to match their look. "I hope it doesn't run in the family." They went on, swaying back and forth like a pair of snake's following a snake charmers flute, still holding onto Lucas. Surprisingly enough, they didn't pounce on Haseo this time like they had before. Leo looked at Evin quickly, his face flushing slightly pink with embarassement. "Um... Well... No... I-I'm not all that good..." Leo said uncertainly, keeping the majority of his attention on Taó and Yama as they made there way down a dungeon coridor on one of the many screens. Niira nodded in understanding. "I see." She cast a look around boredly. "Hm... It's another quiet day I guess..." She said thoughtfully, catching a sly look that swept across Akit@'s and @kita's faces. "We could fix that." Akit@ jibed. "Easily." "No thanks." Niira said skeptically, quirking a brow at the two. "Are you gonna let him go now?" She ventured, noting the two still had a hold on Lucas. Poor kid. "Mmmmm... Nope." Akit@. "Finding out Guppy's got a brother is like stumbling on some big piece of history or something." @kita continued, the two jostling him back and forth playfully. "After all, he's gotta have a role model, don't'cha think?" Akit@ went on as if Haseo weren't in the room - or as if he were some kinda bad person. Hmm... Let's see... "Geez..." Niira sighed, practically face palming. "Let him go already, before you traumatize him out of the game." She sighed, looking at them seriously. "Now that's just offensive. He couldn't possibly be in better hands." They argued in unison, finally releasing the poor adept rogue as they crossed their arms and frowned at her, both a perfect reflection of the other.
Nono chirped and wriggled playfully, waving his back end in a crouch before pouncing on Saara.

Haseo sighed, tuning everyone out. Endrance remained quiet as Evin studied the screens intently, his blue eyes glowing. Phyllo just looked around as Lucas watched Saara
Saara squeaked as she was pounced on and rolled over, paws in the air, batting at Nono's nose with sheathed paws.

Leo heard a small ping from one of the screens and quickly typed away, watching a figure on one of the screens. "Hey guys, it's Farouche. He's online!" He squeeked, an audible note of excitement in his voice. Just about everyone from Dei's group looked up. "He's on?" Niira asked. "N-now?" Mouse spoke up. She was a very quite person indeed. Leo nodded his head quickly. "Like... right now?" @kita asked. "Is he coming here?" Akit@ shrieked. Leo was silent for several seconds, enthusiastic tension filling the room. "He's on his way now!" Leo squeeked. Both twins leapt into the air with a loud 'YAHOOOO!'. Leo recieved another short mail, seeming to grow a bit happier. "He said Rave, Nekokiba, Rapier, Timber, and Aoikaji are coming too!" He practically shouted. The inu twins caterwauled in absolute excitement and grabbed each others hands, skipping in a circle like they were playing ring-around-the-Rosie. "The old gangs coming back! The old gangs coming back!" They sang repetativly, looking quite stupid but very happy. Not a moment later a character stepped through the double doors, a gaunt Adept Rogue with wild jungle brown hair and gold eyes, a leather and fur clothing appearance, though it was unique and stylish, in other words, he didn't look like some computer version of Tarzan or He-man or anything. "Hey guys!" He greeted, smiling a perfect pretty-boy-shine-your-eyes-out smile. "Farouche!" the twins shrieked gleefully, zooming past Haseo at blinding speed and pouncing. Farouche help them each back with a hand and kept them from glomping him the the ground, with obvious practice. "Easy boys." He drauled. He seemed a lot like Kuhn in that he was carefree and pretty confident. Gods be praised he didn't share Kuhn's 'illness' too. "I'm just dropping by for a while, don't know if I'll be staying long." this earned a deeply sad pout-slash-puppy-dog-face from the two. "Awe... You gotta stay a while." They whined together. "Its not a party without you!" Farouche chuckled. "Weeell... I guess we could bombard a dungeon or two..." He said slowely. "WHOOOOHOOOO!!!" Akit@ and @kita cheered. And then they were off. Farouche stared after them quizically for a moment. "Do they really miss me that much?" He thought aloud before shaking his head. "Anyways, I got an email from Dei, so I came to see this new guy." He said, approaching Haseo. He looked over them, making a few 'mm-hmm' sounds before he smiled his blinding smile again, holding out his hand slightly. "I'm Farouche, and you must be Haseo, right? It's an honor."
