Dei scratched the side of her face questioningly. "It's Dei but... I already told you that. Guess it slipped your mind." She said, seeming to think for a moment if she'd forgotten it or not. She turned towards the Dome before looking over her shoulder. "The area words are -delta- Chasing Fallen Bum. So, you wanna come?" She inquired again, waiting for his decision.

He sighed "not like we're exactly busy at the moment. i guess." he paused for a moment, pming Kite <keep an eye on us, i dont exactly trust this Dei person. . . if trouble appears, i want you to appear as well.> <understood> came the response. "i shall follow wherever my master goes." said Endrance demurely.

((Good to see you again DAN! BTW, we got a new chat box on the bottom of the site! Did'ja see it?)) Dei smiled and led the way to the dome. "Then, follow me."/// Dei warped into the dungeon, taking a few steps before Haseo and Endrance appeared. She turned around as they entered, arms crossed leisurely. "I know it's only a level 2 dungeon, but as you probably know, AIDA can appear just about anywhere. Besides, that's not the only reason I brought you here." She said calmly, turning her head towards another character. It was a beast class character, tall with cream or white fur along his torso, stomach, face, and tail tip. Most other areas were a rustic red, with dark brown legs, arms and ears, making it look like a fox. His clothes were a pure white hooded cloak that reached just below his thigh, with red on the inside and showing through the open front of the cloak. His eyes were an intense vivid emerald color, seeming almost alive. His arms were crossed over his chest as he watched Haseo and Endrance, leaning against the frame of the doorway. His face was stern and watchful, but not hostile. After a moment he pushed off the wall, slowely approaching until he was face to face with Haseo. He studied the adept rogue for several moments before silently offering a hand in greeting. Dei came up alongside the beast class character. "Haseo, Endrance, this is..." "RecOn." The player finished in her place, his voice gruff. Dei looked at RecOn questioningly, then back at Haseo, her face twisting to delight. That's great, congrats haseo!" She said, giving him a congratulatory smack on the back. "See, RecOn doesn't talk to most people, but if he does talk to you, it means he trusts you. Anyone RecOn trusts I trust. He's never failed me before." She said cheerily. "If our formalities are through..." RecOn shifted his gaze towards Dei. "...can we get on with it?" He growled on a voice more menacing than it was meant to be. "Yeah. Lead the way." She answered. Motioning with her head towards the pathway. The beast character nodded and started ahead of them.

Endrance looked at Haseo, who shrugged and followed them. Kite kept tabs on them all from inside the game's coding.

((your welcome, and twice in a week? That's unusual for you to post so often. What's the occasion? Lol))
Dei followed second, the group skirting around monsters, seeing as level two monsters weren't worth the time or effort. Dei looked back at Haseo and Endrance from time to time as she talked. "Recently, there's been more activity than usual, and we were starting to worry that it would get too out of control for us to handle. In all truth, we were hoping to solve this without having to involve any of the epitaph users or the azure knights, but we haven't been able to make much more than a dent in their plans." She explained as they made their way progressively towards the second floor. "See, we have our own area for headquarter's sort of like Kestrel or Moon Tree, but it's not an area granted by C.C.Corp like theirs, so it's not originally part of the game. Kinda like the Net Slum, or the lost grounds. Aside from us the ones trying to attack players with AIDA also have a specialized area for their headquarter's. Unfortunately... We haven't had much luck locating it. It's proven to be a real problem." She said in dismay. "So... We've been trying to locate where their headquarter's is, and so far we've only located one." RecOn stopped for a moment till he was closer to the others. "Our enemies have more than one headquarter's, one for each general in their group, and one main headquarter's for their leader." RecOn growled as they made it down to the second floor of the dungeon. "One of the others was able to locate it, but it's still hard to get to." He said as his eyes vigilantly scanned ahead. "See, even though we know how to find it, there's no choas gate, so the only way in is to gate hack. We have someone working on that now, but it could take a while. Even with Kite's ability to phase through the game, it's still pretty tricky. I'm sure they've already caught wind of our intent to enter the place. Anyways, we found out one of their members was here, so, we're here to make sure they don't get any regular players." "Stay alert, we're getting close." RecOn growled menacingly.

(try boredom. . lol)
Haseo listened in silence as he walked. <he's right> came the PM from Kite. <i can locate the bases just fine, but trying to get to them is going to take some work> he said. Haseo relayed the message. "what is the enemy's objective?" asked Endrance.

"Well, you've no doubt experienced cases where you were trapped inside the game and unable to log out, right? Essentially, these guy's using AIDA are going to try and use that method to trap players and turn them into Lost One's. I don't know exactly how soon they are going to put their plan into motion, but I know it'll be a while. I'm just hoping it'll be long enough that we can stop them. If we stop them after their plan starts, I'm not sure if we'll be able to bring back everyone. Also, if we're not fast enough, they're going to try and destroy this game so that we won't be able to help their victim's. That would prove to be more than just problematic. Right now they're trying to infect unsuspecting players, and build their numbers. They know that I... We're trying to stop them, so their preparing for a fight, and trying to keep us busy protecting players so they can finish what they started. And I can't let that happen." RecOn halted, Dei stopping before she colided. "Is it...?" Dei looked up at her partner, the beast-man nodding. "Just ahead. Two infected players." He confirmed, eyes cautiously watching the area ahead. "Alright." She turned and looked back at Haseo and Endrance. "Whatever you want to do is fine. We'll fight the infected players and hope that it doesn't turn ugly. If the AIDA infecting them emerge, you'll probably have to use one of your Avatars." She gave them a confident smile. "Of course, you can always chicken out and leave too." She teased good-humoredly, knowing Haseo probably wasn't one to back down for pretty much anything. She turned back to RecOn. "You ready?" She asked, recieving a quick nod. "Then let's get started."

Haseo sighed, flipping through his inventory and not dignifying her teasing with an answer. <use the dual guns> advised Kite. <yeah, just trying to find the right ones> he responded. Endrance equipped his famous rose blade and nodded to Haseo. "well, this just keeps getting better and better." Haseo muttered; having odd flashbacks of Shino and his other experiences with AIDA and the Lost Ones.

"If you want, we'll go first." Dei said over her shoulder. "Just jump in whenever you're ready." She smiled at them before RecOn went around the corner, Dei following suite. Two player characters were standing just ahead of them, facing away. RecOn took the first strike and led a surprise attack, the battle area springing up around them. Dei pulled her weapons of choice from their holster. They were long, gray dual swords, each end of the handle coal-black with red inbetween. The blade split into two metal bars that twisted around each other in a spiral, looping about three times before they came together into a sharp blade. In-between the spiraling loops were red and blue strands that made both swords look like giant strands of DNA, the full length of each blade as long as her legs, though the sharp edge's only took about one-third of the space. She tensed into a fighting stance as the player RecOn had attacked stood, drawing a sword. The two infected players were a team of a Blade Brandier and a Macabre Dancer. The Blade Brandier was a male character with black hair tied into a long ponytail behind him, an arm-shield portruding from either shoulder, and a blue-gray kimono top, long baggy pants that mimicked the color of the shirt. His skin had turned a sickly pale gray in some areas, but his arm, torso, and face were black, vain's of red snaking up his skin and around his face. He growled furiously at them, his body twitching and convulsing disturbingly, the whites of his eyes burned black from infection. The macabre dancer was a female with a loose vest top with a tall collar, gloves reaching up to her elbows that each had a large cuff around the wrists. A poofy hat held down her short, messy hair and a long robe reached just short of her feet. Her infection was less apparent then her comrades, reaching from her shoulder to partway down her arm and near her hair, her eyes also stained black. The Blade Brandier rushed out at their attacker's as the macabre dancer stood behind, ready to cast attack and support magic. RecOn easily dodged the first two strikes, using his superior speed to nimbly swoop just out of reach. The Tribal Grappler rebounded with several swift swipes and kicks, landing a few blows before the Blade Brandier raised his sword to block RecOn's onslaught. Dei came in behind and swung at her oponant, managing two hits before the player ran a few paces, the Macabre Dancer casting an attack spell at them. ((Whew... Long post. I'm finally getting my muse back! Anyways, I don't care how you handle the fight scene here, whether you have the AIDA come out or not, etc. I can leave some of that to you so... Go wild! And glad to see you posting so much! I was getting pretty bored myself...))

Endrance hung back while Haseo hit the Dancer with his dual guns, taking the player down in one hit. Haseo smiled at Dei. "anything or anyone i hit with these guns does an auto-data-drain. i got them from Kite." he held up the guns, which were a brilliant silver interlaced with crimson and black wires. the blade was silver with a black edge on one side and red edging on the other. the hilts were silver with a ruby stone at the end and black and red wiring lacing around the silver. He took a shot at the Grappler and missed. Endrance decided to join the fray at last, wielding his blade with the ruby rose as the pommel-stone; the hilt of his blade was silver, with a lacing of green wire that branched off to look like a vine with leaves. the blade itself was not a single blade, but split into four, like the blossom of a flower, the blades bent outward and then came back to join up at a point, then branched out about an inch, creating a painful demise for anyone cut by the razor sharp blade. Endrance went after the other blade Brandier and swiftly took him down. "my Sword has an auto data-drain as well." he said demurely as he wiped the blood from his blade and folding it so it returned to looking like a regular sword. Haseo chuckled. "you just like showing off that weapon." "guilty, Master Haseo." was the response.

Dei relaxed as the two players fell, giving a small whistle of impressment. Why didn't I think of that? She thought as she returned her own weapons to their holster. Oh right... Cause Gintaka doesn't know much about how data drain work's... I'll have to talk to her on that... She smiled as she approached the pair, RecOn flanking her calmly. "Not bad. I knew I picked the right people." She mused. She cranes over, looking at Haseo's weapon curiously. "So your weapon's are customs?" She inquired. She always loved custom weapons more than the one's that C.C.Corp designed. Her own was a custom weapon designed by a hacker she just happened to know quite well. "If we're all done here, I'm going back." RecOn grunted, starting off. "What, your just gonna leave me here?" Dei asked with a mild hint of teasing in her voice. RecOn didn't answer as he disapeared down the path. Dei straightened and rubbed the back of her head. "Well... Guess there isn't much to do now... If you want, I can take you to headquarter's? Of course, if you still don't trust me, you don't have to come, though I'm sure you've got Kite waiting to jump in if I did try something." She gave a small smile at this before walking past them. "If you wanna come, go right ahead. I'm heading back now."

Haseo let her examine his dual guns. "i have a custom Scythe, Broadsword and Twinblades as well as the guns." he said as Endrance put his blade away. "Kite designed all of them." he looked to Endrance. "i think we'll stick with you. if you'd have ment us harm we'd have found that out already." he said "and yeah, we do have Kite for backup." Endrance made a noise. "oh shut up, she already knows." He shrugged. Haseo smiled "lead the way if you would" he said, putting the guns away.

Dei stopped a moment, spinning on her heel to face them. "Unlike the headquarter's of our enemies, you can reach ours through the Chaos gate, but you won't be able to get there using area words." She held up a small crest. It was flat like a coin, but shaped like a bird with outstretched wings. "You use these kinda like the data seeds obtained from AIDA to gate hack, and unless you can phase through programs like Kite, there's no other way in or out. It's so we can keep others out who aren't welcome, and so that no one accidentally stumble's into our base. Just use them whenever you want to come by, it'll warp you right up to the entrance." She said, giving one to both Haseo and Endrance. With that done she continued back towards the nearest Chaos Gate.///Dei warped into her exclusive area, walking forward. The Chaos gate stood at the far end of the rocky path near the edge of the water. The entrance was composed of several stairs leading up to a long corridor. In the center of the stairs was a statue of a Pheonix taking flight, carved from magnificent pearl-colored marble, the flames around the base carved from semi-transparent Ruby that glittered like real fire. Large, bone-white trees made up the walls of the gaping corridor entrance, small bowl-shaped hollows dug into the side of the trunks where silver and blue fires flickered in mid air, lighting the path. Old tree roots snaked through the stone path along the edge's, cracking and splitting the stone. At the end of the long corridor were two magnificently large double-doors, the background a vivid navy blue with a almost glowing silver pheonix on each door facing the center where the two doors parted, and a sun pattern in the very center of the door. Above all of it was a gargantuan tree that glowed white and lit up the Sky around it, stars glittering through the bare branches on a dark blue-black canvas. Even for game graphic's, the sight was truly breath-taking. Even Dei stopped a moment, looking it over with awe and admiration. "Home, sweet home." She sighed aloud. "This is our headquarter's." She turned to face the pair, giving them a moment to take it all in. "You like?"
((Whoo! Finally get to post the headquarters up! *dances* I was thinking for over a week how I wanted this to look and I finally decided like... Yesterday X3 just in time too.)

Haseo whistled, impressed, Endrance looked around, not making a sound. after a moment he spoke softly "its beautiful. like one of the finest roses." Haseo chuckled, still looking. "what now?" he eventually asked.
