MAC ANU:
As you gate in, you find yourself inside of a dome-like structure across from a large set of doors. Heading out the doors you are greeted with the sights and sounds of Mac Anu, a large, sprawling city built on the water. You can hear the sounds of the steam engines droning on all over the city, and the sound of running water coming from the grand fountain in the central plaza, where guild shops are selling their goods.
Down the steps and past the plaza are the other districts, which can be reached by foot or by using the warp platforms located throughout the city. Mac Anu's second fountain can be found in the Alchemy District, near the edge of town overlooking the sea. Taking a different route will lead you to the Harbor District, where the ship going to Hy Brasail is docked (but it only leaves town for special occasions, such as the crowning ceremonies for the Arena Emperors). The bike shop is also located here, where you can find parts for your steam bike.
Past the Harbor District lies the Mercenary District, where the @home for low level guilds is located, and where the NPC rewarding bounty hunters can be found should you complete the quest to become a bounty hunter.
WARRING CITY LUMINA CLOTH:
As you gate in, you are faced with a towering arena, brightly lit against the night sky. There are two branches from the central platform you gate in at, but one of them you will likely never need to follow, as it leads to the @home of the prestigious guild Icolo, where only those who have earned the title of Emperor can venture. Around the back of the Arena is a balcony area, and an alleyway where a bit of shady trade seems to go on from time to time.
The Arena itself is comprised of three palaces, one for the lowest levels, one for the middle levels, and one for the highest levels. These palaces are the Demon Palace, the Holy Palace, and the Sage Palace, respectively.
Tournaments are held often, in which teams of up to three players can fight their way through in order for a chance to challenge the Emperor.
THERE IS NO PKING IN THE ROOT TOWNS.
However, the System Administrators of The World would like you to please, take advantage of the Arena to alleviate your need to PK.
CELESTIAL CITY DOL DONNA:
As you gate in, you are greeted with the sight of a lush, earthy town and a large gate set into the earthy rise directly opposite where you stand. Through this gate lies the heart of Dol Dona, a moderately sized city built atop a fallen fragment of Fort Ouph. The shops are located around a circular building in the center of the plaza, with guild shops bordering the outer walls of the area. Beyond this plaza is the bridge leading to the @home where medium level guilds are located, as well as a bike shop to buy parts for your steam bike. Sometimes, you'll find people just sitting and staring out across the water.
DUAL CITY BREG EPONA:
As you gate in, you find yourself at one end of a city that looks rather industrial, even in comparison to Mac Anu. Before you stands a small plaza and an elevator set into the city wall. As you step out of the elevator, you'll find yourself in the festive plaza in which guilds set up shop, and further along lie the NPC shops, as well as the high level guild @home. If you take a detour, you'll find yourself traveling down a rather long corridor into a back-alley that has a view of the sky, as well as some of the other crisscrossing walkways overhead. Floating structures in the distance make for good conversation pieces!
TARTARGA:
As you gate in, you find yourself in a strange city, built atop the back of the giant turtle Tartarga. Strange people inhabit this city, with television screens for heads and fragmented thoughts. This is their home, the fragments of a hacker's paradise. This is Net Slum. A set of doors is before you, and beyond them lies the central plaza of Net Slum, and the @home for the guild Canard, as well as the bridge of the Tartarga, where the Serpent of Lore has been relocated.
As another note, this area is currently restricted to hackers, AIs, and Haseo's canon party members
