The group looked in awe at each of the rooms. Mokona perked it's ears at the last and most elegant of the rooms. "Wow! Mokona likes this room!" It turned in Sakura's arms with a very big smile. "A room fit for a Princess, right, Sakura?" It chirped. She blinked a moment before smiling at the white creature pleasantly. "Yes, I guess it is, isn't it?" She agreed. "I guess we know what room our little Princess will be staying in then, won't we?" Fai commented more then asked. "I think I'll take this one if that's alright with you guys." Syaoran said as he picked the third room, the one next to Sakura's. "I don't have a problem with it. What about you, Kuro-puu?" Fai asked playfully. "'course I don't, and stop calling me those damn names." He grunted, looking sideways at the Mage. "Well, why don't I take this one?" Fai pointed to the second room casually. "I got no problems with that." Kurogane grunted again. "Then it's settled!" Fai cheered. "So, Kitsune-chan, what about you?" She looked at the blonde male a moment before giving a shrug. "Dont know yet." She replied. She sometimes switched between Fai's room and Sakura's room when each person had seperate ones. She used to spend time in Syaoran's room as well, but he'd been seeking solitude more and more as of late, so she didn't want to bother him if he wanted to be alone, which seemed to be a lot.

One of the doors close by to theirs opened, a sleepy looking Kuroichi stumbled out and rubbed his one revealed eye. Yawning he blinked before noticing them all and giving a slight smile before leaving the hall. His black bandaged tail flicking behind him slightly as he walked down it calmly. As expected the neko boy's foot steps went completely unheard even by the shinobi 'Kuro-puu'. After walking the halls for a short time, trying to find nodoka, the neko stopped. Standing in the hall was a black cloaked figure, the only part of his figure visible was the large grin plastered over his face. Quickly the figure began to move towards the neko. Stepping back the neko blinked before he was pinned to a wall with a loud thud. "Shh now Kuro... we wouldn't want any accidents would we?" the man asked with a dark grin, two pure red eyes poking out from the shadows of the cloak hood. Pinning the neko boy's arms to the wall by his wrist, the figure grinned more, pressing him self against the neko to keep him where he was so he couldn't escape. "You shouldn't have run away, your master is quite upset." he whispered into the neko's ear, his voice holding a light sadistic tone to it. The neko boy only turned his head away with a defiant look to him. Frowning the man pressed harder against him, growling slightly as he pulled the neko's hands above his head and pinned them there with one hand to the wrists. "Now, now. Don't show that look. Nodoka sure is making you a defiant little kitten isn't he." he growled as a small blade slipped from his sleeve. The neko blinked, looking back at the blade before going to make a sound to alert any one he could but was quickly stopped. The blade suddenly pressed to his neck. "shh shh shh. I wouldn't do that if I were you little kitten." he said as a sly grin crossed his face again. "Unless you want punished." he chuckled darkly making the neko boy freeze as his eyes widened. "obstruction" the neko whimpered lightly back only making the cloaked man grin even more. "My, the kitten's learned to talk." he chuckled as he pulled the blade away from kuroichi's neck. Placing it gently on his arm he grinned more. "Don't scream now." he whispered into the neko's ear before sliding the blade slowly across the neko's arm causing a deep and painful gash down the outside of it. The neko bit down on his tongue, trying to hold in the erg to let out a loud squeak of pain. "Good boy." the man responded before stepping away from him. "Remember that kitten. Return to your master next time he calls or the punishments will only get worse." Instantly the cloaked figure stepped into a shadow and was gone. Kuroichi dropped to the floor, blood nearly gushing from the wound on his arm as he sat on the floor holding it, small tears dripped down his cheeks as he made no sound. "tribulation" he whispered slightly in a whimper before standing and proceeding to stumble down the hall. It wasn't long before he ran into a certain blond haired mage.

Fai made a small noise of surprise, straightening before he could trip and smiled as he turned around. "Sorry about that." He apologized. The scent of blood instantly reached his nose and he looked at the neko in wonder for about a second before the realization hit him. His eyes studied the wound a moment, narrowing his eyes. "Are you alright?" He asked, looking a little concerned. "Thats what I want to know." Kitsunes voice said from behind him. Fai blinked and looked at her a moment. She hadn't been there a second ago, but then again she was an expert at sneaking and secrecy... "I could smell the blood from two halls away." She explained breifly, waving a hand dismissively. "But more importantly, what about that? It looks like a blade wound."

Kuroichi looked away backing up he said nothing. Looking up at them he bit his lip slightly. "exceptional." he responded in a faint whisper as he looked away. "Kuroichi!" came nodoka's voice as he came running down the hall. Stopping before the injured neko boy he grabbed his arm gently. "Who did this!" he demanded looking at the neko boy sternly. Kuro shook his head slightly as he looked away, not making any attempts to flee now. "Kuro... Fine... come on lets get you bandaged." nodoka sighed slightly before looking up a fai and kitsune. "Did you see any one?" he asked with a angered look to his eyes. Kuro shook his head once more before pushing nodoka away and headed towards his room. "Kuro!" nodoka reached for him but stopped with a sigh. "Whats gotten into him..." he grumbled before turning to Fai and kistune again. "I'm sorry about that." he said looking now extremely worried. "I don't know whats gotten into him. He's been acting strange the past few days...."
Kuroichi stepped into his room, moving to the fire place he knelled in front of it before pulling out the fire poker and resting it over the open fire. Holding it there he looked out the window as he waited in silence, his eyes watching the castle on the hill that Sanka owned. Before long the poker had turned red hot, pulling it out of the fire he placed the tip of the now red metal to his skin. Whimpering slightly he slid it down the wound, cauterizing the flesh and stopping the bleeding. Sighing he placed the poker back into it's holder and stood, searching the room he found some silk bandages and wrapped his arm with them to keep it from getting infected while it healed. He walked back to the window and looking out it, saying nothing.
(could you play nodoka coming to check on him...kinda getting tired of rping with my self. )

((I wouldn't know how X3 but I might be able to get on Animegourmet tomarrow between 3:15 and 3:45 after my club gets out)) Kitsune exchanged a glance with Fai before they looked back at Nodoka. "It's fine." Fai replied coolly, a thoughtful look across his face. "If you'll excuse us..." Kitsune prompted. They gave a small wave and started back towards their rooms, exchanging another glance. ---------- "Nodoka said that that cat boy, Kuroichi, was acting wierd lately." Kitsune stated thoughtfully. "Maby it has something to do with the feather?" "Well, we can't jump to conclusions yet." Fai replied, leaning back in one of the chairs around the table. "But we can't leave out the possibility either." Kitsune retorted, rapping a utencil against the table. "Maybe he's protecting it?" Sakura suggested. "Perhaps that's where the wound came from?" "Either way, if this Nodoka guy or that cat thing has it, do you really think they'll hand it over, just like that?" Kurogane sniffed, looking rather bored and irritable. "Whether or not they have it, we need to get the Princess' memory back." Syaoran added, only managing to earn a hurt look from Sakura as she remembered the other Syaoran, looking down again to avoid the teenagers hazel eyes. "We need to come up with a plan, rest tonight, and start our search in the morning." Kitsune said, voicing Syaoran's thoughts. The others nodded their agreement tiredly. "I'll go ask if they have a map anywhere we could use." Syaoran volunteered, standing. No one objected, so he left the room. ----------- Syaoran wandered down the hall, scanning the corridor. Navigating the castle had seemed a lot easier before, but now he had to admit he was probably lost. ..... Okay, more than probably. He sighed to himself as he approached another door, opening it a moment. "Hello?" He spotted Kuroichi on the windowsill. "Oh...sorry for the intrusion." He apologized, bowing slightly.

Kuroichi turned and smiled at him lightly before shaking his head slightly in dismissal. "pursue" he said and stood walking over and holding up a drawing. Pencil markings covered the page a very detailed picture lay on the paper, a picture of one of Sakura's feathers. "Pursue." he pointed at the castle on the hill. "Sanka..." he mumbled darkly before turning back to him and pointing at the feather on the page then to the castle on the hill. His yellow cat eyes watching the hazel boy's reaction. The bandages on his arm revealing slight wetness in a line from seeping of some sort of liquid on his arm.
---- It was early morning and Nodoka was in the court yard, the area of the castle that had been announced as off limits in the mornings. A blade in both hands, a blind fold over his eyes and seemed to be practicing with them. A man stood close by throwing rocks at him from many different angles. Nodoka ether dodged, blocked, or reflected the on coming rock depending on what angle it came from.
"Your getting better my lord." the man said as nodoka removed his blind fold, panting. "Thank you.... I have a question though." "yes my lord...?" "Has kuroichi been acting strange to you?" "well... every time I walk in my room he seems to be starring solemnly up at San.. I mean your brothers castle." he said as he walked over, picking up two sheaths and holding them out to his king. "I see...." he mumbled as he put the blades away and then turned from the room. "I'm going to bath... make sure you have kuroichi... ready." "But my lord there is no way that he's.." "Quite and do as your told..." "Y-yes my lord." With that nodoka left the room, a grim look to his face.

Kitsune yawned widely, lips curling away from pearly white fox canines as she leapt off the bed that she'd been curled up on alongside Fai most of the night. Scratching her neck with a hind foot, she trotted to the door, morphing to mouse form and slipping underneath the door, scampering across the long corridor unnoticed. It didn't take long to sniff out a room that was filled with the scents of ink, dust, and old, worn paper. Luckily it had it's own unique scent that was easy to tell from others. Looking to make sure she was unseen, she slipped under another crevice in the door and morphed to human when she could see that the coast was clear inside. It was easy enough to look through the articles and find the few things she needs, copying the text and pictures with her magic onto a scroll she fished out of her pocket before slipping it away, morphing back to the unnoticed mouse and scampering back to the bedroom, morphing to human form when she was safely inside. She sighed, setting the scroll down on a table before pouring water from a pitcher that had been left much earlier that morning. Shapeshifting took a bit of energy, but at least she wasn't so drained now, since she'd slept. Fai yawned, rubbing his eye with one hand. "Kitsune-chan?" He mumbled, blinking the sleep out of his eyes. "You get them?" He asked, tilting his head slightly in question. "Yeah."
The night before...
"So he knows about the feather?" Kitsune asked. "Yeah. He was pointing to that other castle, up on the hill." Syaoran confirmed. "Then our assumptions weren't far off." Fai said thoughtfully. "So then we'll have to go to the castle first." Kitsune stated. "But if he knows, isn't there a chance there are traps waiting for us?" Fai inquired with a small smile adorning his face. "I wouldn't be surprised. We have to go there to get the feather, but I won't be the moth flying into the flame." Kitsune said carefully. "Well put." Fai agreed with a smile. "And who knows who could be trying to trap us." Kitsune added. "I think it would be best to look at a map of the area before we go." Syaoran said carefully. "But if we ask they could alter a map or give us a false one, especially if they have magic." Kitsune warned. "You have a plan?" Fai asked, smiling knowingly. ----------- Syaoran led the group down towards the courtyard as the rays of daylight shown through the windows of the castle, stepping outside the gates. "One of the gaurds said he'd be down here." Syaoran stated thoughtfully, turning his head to look for Nodoka. "I wonder where?"

There was a small whimper from a corner of the courtyard, hidden behind a large way with only one opening. "I know you can talk kuro. Answer the damn question!." nodoka's voice growled darkly. There was a momentary pause before a loud snap sound echoed threw the courtyard and then a loud whimper again. "Damn it kuro I trusted you! You betrayed me. Your the reason Sanka has known my every move. Your the reason so many of my people have died!" he growled again. "No." whimpered kuro. "Shut up! I'm going to the castle to end this once and for all. I should have figure the very person closest to me was sanka's spy." the door flung open nodoka emerging from it before stopped and looking at the group. Blood dripped down from his hands and splattered his clothing. "I thought the guard told you this place was off limits in the morning." he said seeming in a very bad mood. Sitting weakly in a pile of blood, a battered and cut kuro pulled into a corner, tears dripping down his face. Nodoka stepped farther from the door, kicking it shut. "No matter." he sighed. "Is there something you needed?" he asked calmly as he crossed his arms.

Kitsune exchanged a glance with the others before they looked back at Nodoka. "We were actually about to start searching for something and were going to ask exactly where we should look." Syaoran began carefully. "Have there been any unusual things going on around here? Like some sort of phenomenon or something that came on very suddenly?" Not seeming to have noticed Kuroichi. "Also, if you might have any rides or mounts." Kitsune inquired, earning a curious look from Fai and Sakura. "You have a big castle so I assumed you might have some, and it would probably make the travelling a bit easier." She added.

"No there hasn't been any thing out of the ordinary as of recently. However a few years ago... my brother... suddenly became violent. He acquired powerful magic and ever since has been using it to destroy my kingdom... And as for mounts. We have horses and sabers." he said calmly. "Horses make a comfortable ride while sabers are more for speed. You can take what you need, it's not hard to find more of them seeing as we breed them. Just make sure you're careful around the boarders... strange creatures have been said to be walking about them now a days."

"Thankyou." Syaoran said, bowing slightly, leading the way back towards the castle. Kitsune exchanged a glance with Fai, who still seemed quizical but nodded in response none the less, the action unnoticed by Nodoka. As soon as they were out of Nodoka's sight, Syaoran looked at the others. "Did you hear what he said?" He asked, keeping his voice low. "'sanka', 'betrayal', spy', 'other castle', his 'brother gaining a mysterious power'." Kitsune listed. "Whatever is going on, it sounds like it has to do with the feather and that other castle." She pieced together, thinking through it. "So this Sanka person must be the brother with the newfound magic." Fai added on. "And Kuroichi is Sanka's spy." Kitsune put a finger to her chin in thought. "I'm not sure. Why would he try to tell us Sanka had the feather?" She inquired. "A trap, perhaps?" Fai guessed, a small smile adorning his fair face. "Could be, but I'm not sure. We could be making a great mistake jumping to conclusions." She said thoughtfully, attuned ears alert for the sound of anyone approaching or nearbye. "Did you hear Kuroichi?" Syaoran asked, turning to the others. "He denied that he was spying. Maybe he was telling the truth." "Maybe, but no doubt Nodoka will try and seal off that room so we can't go in." Kitsune warned. "I guess he doesn't know who he's dealing with." Fai said with a slay smirk. Kitsune nodded in return, the group moving to find the mounts. Syaoran waved to the first gaurds they came across. "Excuse me! We were told by Nodoka that we could use some mounts to search for something. We were hoping you might know where they were." He asked. He already knew from experience it wasn't hard to get lost there.

The gaurd turned calmly and gave a solute. "The mounts can be found in the stables just out side the northern gate. The northern gate is located just across from the temple. " he said and pointed at the temple's tower with reached far into the skies. "Please be careful." he said and gave another solute before turning away.
Kuroichi looked about the room. His shirt was missing, a pail well built chest revealed, now covered in black and white straps from his shirt. "Nodoka..." he whimpered slightly as he moved to the door but got no answer. Looking about the room again he pulled a create over to a barred window. He had been placed in a cell in the dungeon. The window was located just where the stabled was and from what he can see Nodoka's mount was already missing. "Left." he whimpered his neko ears dropping on his head in worry. Reaching out the window he tried to feel around for a rock or some something sharp.

The group nodded, thanking him as they slipped around to the stables. Syaoran was about to go and take some of the horses, but Kitsune stopped him. "What is is?" He questioned, a little puzzled. "Take the Sabors." She instructed forcefully. "But Nodoka said the horses would make an easier amd more comfortable ride." He corrected, thinking about Sakura again. "Exactly." Kitsune retorted. "We're on a search, and it makes more sense to take the faster mounts to cover more ground. Besides, if you run into trouble out there, the Sabers might be more help then the horses. Sakura and I will stay here." She said. "But I want to search too! It's my feather! I want to help!" Sakura protested. "But Princess, your leg." Syaoran reminded a little guiltily. "I don't care. I want to help like the others." She protested again stubbornly. Kitsune squeezed her shoulder firmly, looking around to be sure no one would overhear them. "I know, but we need to stay behind. I'm going to find Kuroichi and help him if I can." She explained in a low voice. "If you and the others ran into Nodoka out there without me, it would no doubt raise suspicion, but if we used your leg as an excuse, then it wouldn't be as suspicious." Sakura blinked a moment, realization dawning over both Sakura and Syaoran while Fai just smiled cunningly, having already known. "I see. I'll stay, then." Sakura conceded. Syaoran nodded in agreement as they each chose a mount, ready to depart. "When we're done here, we'll find you." Kitsune said. Syaoran nodded in return before they took off on the Sabers rather quickly.

Kuroichi had found a rock had already began to pound at the lock on the door, his hands getting cut every time the sharp rock hit the lock. "Whats all that racket!" growled a guard as he came around the corner. "Damn it kuroichi stop that." the guard sighed pulling the rock from his hand. "Nodoka." he whimpered before collapsing weakly. The guard sighed again, opening the door before getting pounced by the neko. A loud girlish scream filled the dungeons as four sharp fangs pieced the guards neck before rendering him unconscious. Kuroichi ran down the hall, skidding to a stop in front of four rather large guards. He backed up slightly before ducking under a large mace then got pounced by two of the guards. "Damn it Kuroichi, just stay in your cell!" one growled as another stepped over. "We don't want to have to brake your legs but if you don't stop struggling we might have too." another sighed.

Kitsune led the way down one of the corridors, Sakura not far. The girlish scream filled the air and instantly alerted them to the commotion, Kitsune tracin her way to the sound first, stopping and peering around a corner at what was happening, Sakura joining her a moment later. She was about to call to the Neko but Kitsune put a hand over her mouth quickly, shaking her head. The Princess of Clowe nodded in understanding before Kitsune moved her hand away and turned into a bat, fluttering quickly and silently into the corridor and perching above them, fully registering what was happening before she dropped from her upside-down position and morphed in mid-air, landing on one and using her momentum to smack his head into the stone, knocking him out instantly. The other two barely had any time to register what was happening before she kicked one in the face and knocked him out, whirling to the other side and just dodging the falling mace, quickly retaliating by grabbing the mace and holding it firmly, ramming the guy hard into the wall and crippling him before turning to Kuroichi. "Are you alright?" She asked, not even winded.
